After selecting a program, it is crucial to carefully review the terms and conditions, as your reservation will be bound by the rules provided. Completing a payment for any program or excursion through “Amazon Treehouse” indicates your acceptance and commitment to abide by these terms and conditions, which will be applicable to all tours.
Program itineraries may be subject to changes due to weather conditions, river conditions, or group preferences. “Amazon Treehouse” cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage to clients’ personal belongings or any subsequent consequences. Any illnesses or accidents that occur during the tour are beyond our responsibility, and clients will be responsible for covering related expenses. Clients are also liable for any borrowed equipment and must cover any losses or damages before returning to Cusco. Clients must confirm their physical and mental well-being, and “Amazon Treehouse” will not be held responsible if this statement proves to be false.
Before making any payment, please contact us for guidance. To confirm your chosen program, a 50% deposit per participant is required during the booking process. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable in case of client cancellation. By finalizing your payment, you enter into a binding agreement with “Amazon Treehouse,” and we will acknowledge and verify your reservation only after receiving written confirmation from our side.
For the 50% advance payment, you can use WESTERN UNION, PAYPAL, or other online payment platforms. Clients are responsible for any bank charges or transfer fees.
All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. We kindly request that you settle your remaining balance at our office at least 24 hours before the start of your tour. We currently accept cash in either Peruvian soles or U.S. dollars, as well as Visa payments (subject to an 8% fee). The per-person cost agreed upon during booking confirmation remains fixed.
In the event of a booking cancellation, please send a written notice to “Amazon Treehouse.” Please be aware that the deposit is non-refundable. It is advisable to review your insurance policy, as it may cover your cancellation reasons.
For cancellations made more than 15 days before departure, the client forfeits the 50% deposit. If a cancellation occurs between 15 and 7 days before departure and the client has paid the full 100% upfront, a 50% refund of the total cost will be provided. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure or partial tour cancellations will not receive any refunds.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as technical issues, adverse weather conditions, strikes, government actions, or civil disturbances, “Amazon Treehouse” will make every effort to propose alternative plans or equivalent trip options. However, refunds will not be provided. We may need to adjust the itinerary as necessary, but we will strive to uphold the agreed-upon services.
For significant alterations, we will aim to inform you before the start of your trip and offer alternative plans of similar value. Any additional costs resulting from these changes will be the responsibility of the client. It is important to note that we cannot compensate for any other expenses incurred by the client in preparation for the tour, such as international flight tickets, visa expenses, vaccinations, etc.
If “Amazon Treehouse” initiates the cancellation, a full refund of your payment will be provided.
The tours organized by “Amazon Treehouse” are designed to immerse participants in the authentic essence of the destination. These experiences may inherently involve risks that could lead to physical or emotional harm, paralysis, death, or damage to participants, their belongings, or others. By participating in the tour, participants acknowledge and willingly accept these inherent risks. They also confirm their awareness of their health and physical condition and understand the associated risks. In the event of accidents or injuries, “Amazon Treehouse” is exempted from any liability.
During the tour, the final authority regarding safety and group well-being rests with the company’s guide or representative. It is essential to adhere to their instructions at all times. Participants are obligated to adhere to Peru’s strict drug-related laws and regulations. Any violation of these laws or any behavior that jeopardizes group safety may result in expulsion from the tour by the guide or company representative, without any entitlement to a refund.
Clients must possess a valid passport and should carry the original or a photocopy during excursions.
We highly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for accidents, medical expenses, emergency repatriation (including aerial medical evacuations), as well as protection against trip disruptions and baggage loss.
While “Amazon Treehouse” directly offers many services within the package, we also collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other entities to ensure a complete travel experience. Despite our commitment to quality, these external providers operate independently. Therefore, “Amazon Treehouse” is not responsible for any delays, damages, inconveniences, or setbacks attributed to these third-party providers.
If clients have any concerns regarding our service, it is crucial to inform the guide immediately for timely resolution. Further complaints should be submitted in writing to the company within 7 days after the tour.
All disputes or disagreements will be exclusively resolved in Cusco, Peru, under Peruvian Law, with Cusco courts retaining sole jurisdiction.
Any monetary claims against “Amazon Treehouse” are limited to the value of the disputed item. The company explicitly excludes liability for any indirect or consequential losses, damages, or missed profit opportunities.
