These Cusco to Manu National Park Tours always begin early. Even before the sun rises we’ll be on the door of your hotel for the pick up. We’ll drive you in our private transport for a few hours.

It is time to visit one of the most colorful sites in Manu National Park Peru. We have to wake up before sunrise. The macaw clay licks are waiting for us. After a short boat ride we’ll arrive at the site.
During sunrise, hundreds of parrots and macaws reunite on clay cliffs. They will proceed to eat the clay in order to neutralize toxins. Many seeds and fruits they eat contain toxins. This is a wonderful natural occurrence.
After we have fully enjoyed the macaw clay licks we’ll return to Treehouse Inn. In the lodge we’ll have breakfast to fuel us for the day. We’ll go on a hike after breakfast. This is a longer trail that passes near a local community.
Further in this trail we’ll enter the territory of many interesting mammals. Like anteaters, sloths and with some luck even jaguars. You’ll also learn about medicinal plants. Finally we’ll return to Treehouse Inn.
In the lodge, we’ll have a delicious lunch. In the evening, we’ll go to do river tubing. This is a fun and mild adventure activity.
We’ll travel upstream to float back on inflatable cameras. After this activity we’ll have dinner in the Lodge.
If you still have energy, you can join the night excursion to the Manu National Park Peru. We’ll be looking for nocturnal creatures. After which we’ll return to the Lodge to sleep.
This is the last day of the Cusco to Manu National Park Tours. We’ll have breakfast early. This will be the last meal we enjoy in the Treehouse Inn.

In Atalaya our private bus will be waiting for us. We’ll embark on the Private Bus. We’ll travel from the Amazon rainforest to the andean region.
